                The second daughter was married to  Sri.Sivachidambaram of Ambasamudram,whose family 

was related to Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi.One  male child in each of the descendent generation was being named Ramanan.

                   The Britishers were successful in colonising the area covering the present Indian nation and Pakistan except a few places here and there. and bringing under the British Empire.,under the regime of Victoriya Maharaniyar.As the days went by ,the atrocities of the rulers increased and Indians were being treated as slaves in  their own soil.  The thirst for freedom also began to gain ground in differnt parts of the the country.,In the north leaders like Lala Lajpathiroy ,Bala  Gangadhara Thilak Ghan A bdulGhafer Khan. Mohammed Ali Jinnah and a host of others piloted  Indian Independence Movement,The fire of freedom spread in south also very rapidly.Rulers like Veerapadiakatta pomman near Thirunelveli faught bravely with the conventional swords and spikes against the guns and  marters of the Britishers .

Mahakavi Subramania Bharathi a born poet, through his poetic genius imbibed the spirit of freedom among the people and was a binding force among the people of the  entire country and advocated unity among people by his fiery poems and valuable writings .He also took the cause of  many social evils  plaguing among the Indians like poverty,atrocities on women,caste inequality and so on. He wandered along the  streets like a mad man covering many villages  in the district' G has met him a number of times at SundarapandiapuramAnother pious poor brahmin worthy of  great mention  was Dheerendhra Brahmachari who sacrificed his entire life for the country.Another name worthy, o f great mention is Kappalottia Thamizhan  V O Chidambaram Pillai from Tuticorin.He opposed the very idea of the British floating ships in the sea area which actually belonged to our country.G  resigned his job as teacher and became a fullfledged  freedom fighter and joined the the team headed by V O C.He assisted in collecting shares for the buying a ship to float on the sea as envisaged by  V O C.

     There was a team of freedom fighters like Surahmaniyasiva, V V S I yer ,A PC Veerabahupillai .a relative of V O C,  I  A Chidambaram Pillai, LakshmiSankar, Somayajulu, A N Sivaraman ,Sheik Peer Mohammed, Vallavaroyer, Sankaeapandithevar, T T Krishnamaachari  ,Vanchinathan  and of course G.

                                   DHEEKSHITHAR  THAATHAA(  6 )                      One day  G was waiting at the Kallidaikurichi Bus stop to board the bus to Ambasamudram hardly two kilometers away.He preferred travelling by bus witḥ people of all sorts since he treated every one as his brother or sister,being a typical follower of Mahathma Gandhi. .Usual bus fare was only half a rupee ( very valuable amount in those days.)
