                          Thiru.Sangamuthu Thevar  as a winning candidate of the Ambasamudram constituency of the Congress ( O ).he used to meet G every now and then to discuss the party  matters of importance.I am very happy to point out at this stage that I  had a a God given opportunity to work in Thirunelveli   in  small distances  from  G  as well as KTV. both of  whom were very well known persons to the majority of the people of the district.  I have seen the reactions of the people when  introduced as the grandson of G or son of KTV( at least in brahmin community )It is no exaggeration to  mention tha.I scored a special respect  because of these two great persons.Of course I had  my own respect as a successcul college teacher having worked  for 36 years in two great Educational Instituitions of the district..Most of the students also had known G.  Everything was confined within the district.Many persons belonging to the brahmin community have praised both of them together while talking to me.One remarked thus. "" YOUR GRANDFATHER IS A GREAT MAHAN.and  FOR YOUR FATHER  A TEMPLE  SHOULD BE BUILT AND HE SHOULD WORSHIPPED. ""  This person is none other than my own Sambandhi Sri. Janakiraman. In fact this idea in him make him decide in favour of Srimathy's marriage with Srinivasan.

                                       We know that G's younger brother Sri Ananthanarayanan B A;L T was working as  Head  Master in a High School at Alwarthirunagari   at a distance of  36 miles from Thirunelveli and after retirement he continued to stay  there for some more years.All of us had the opportunity to visit his house a number of times'After retirement ,he was working in the governing board of a cooperative bank as Vice-Chairman. At that time some charges were levelled against him saying that he was involved in mishandling some amount of the bank money for personal use.An F I R had been lodged against him .He was about to be taken to the court .Some people came rushing to G and informed him of the matter.This happened when he was an MLA..Pat came the reply from G ." If he had done anything wrong , he deserves punishment ; If he has not done really any fraud ,nobody will touch him '' .The people returned .The brother himself came directly to G and requested to save him

G asked his brother if he has done anything really wrong. A said none. G said " why then are you afraid.Nobody will touch you.Within halfan hour of this conversation some two three persons from the bank came to Cheranmadevi G's residence and apoligised to both G andA  saying that the real culprit has been nabbed.This is another example to highlight that he never used his position for personal ends.

                                   DHEEKSHITHAR  THAATHAA(  6 )                      One day  G was waiting at the Kallidaikurichi Bus stop to board the bus to Ambasamudram hardly two kilometers away.He preferred travelling by bus witḥ people of all sorts since he treated every one as his brother or sister,being a typical follower of Mahathma Gandhi. .Usual bus fare was only half a rupee ( very valuable amount in those days.) Very simple as he was ,one can always see him well clad on a white dhothi , a towel for upper garment and a jolna bag , all made of khadhi ( no shirt unless for long   train travels )   A taxi  driver approached him and offered to take him to Ambasamudram Ponvizha mandapam where G  intended to go, on payment of  one rupee (  double tḥe cost of bus fare ) G agreed .On a...
